Christine Winger, State Rep.

Christine Winger, a lifelong resident of Illinois, was raised on the Northwest side of Chicago. She is the daughter of a Chicago Police officer and proud of her commitment to follow in her father’s footsteps and serve the community.
Before winning election to State Representative of the 45th District in 2014, Christine served as a City Councilwoman in Wood Dale for 11 years where she advocated for residents and small business owners. In recognition of her work on the behalf of the community, she earned an appointment to Deputy Mayor in May of 2013.
Christine’s professional experience as a project manager with companies like IBM and her current work as a financial advisor makes her uniquely qualified to serve her district in Springfield. She has considerable expertise with budgets and preparing for challenges by ensuring financial stability.
Christine is focused on creating a better job climate in Illinois, improving the quality of life for families and ensuring a quality education for children. She represents the interest of families and will work to protect their economic futures.
Rep. Winger is a graduate of Illinois State University and resides with her husband, Mark, in Wood Dale.
