Chris Miller

State Representative
110th House District

For the past 40 years, Miller has owned and operated a grain and cattle farm. He is running for state representative because Illinois is in serious trouble. He cites the growing backlog of unpaid bills and the broken pension system as evidence.

"Going to Springfield is not going to be about photo ops, dinner parties and meetings with lobbyists," he says. "For me, serving as your state representative will be about working for the change we need to get our state back on track. I want to go to Springfield and be the voice of you, the taxpayers, who are tired of seeing their hard-earned money wasted in Springfield."

Miller lives in Oakland, Illinois, where he was born and raised.  After graduating from Oakland High School, Chris attended Eureka College and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in education. Later, Chris attended Lakeland College and received an Associate‚Äôs Degree in agriculture. He is a third generation farmer and raises Angus cattle. Chris and his wife, Mary, have been married for thirty-seven years. They have seven children and fourteen grandchildren.
